I've got two foil Abrupt Decay s I pulled, what's my best thing to do with them? do I sell before they leave standard, or keep them on the expectation that the price is going to keep going up?

that card sucks, i don't understand the hype. I have a Warleader's Helix foil I'll trade u for it but only if u throw something else in to sweeten the deal?

It's a tough call. it is one of the best modern removal spells out there. And modern players LOVE foils lol.

I'll pay $.25 not a penny more.

I don't expect that standard is driving the price of Abrupt Decay too terribly, given the extent to which the card sees play in Modern and Legacy. I wouldn't worry about rotation affecting its price very much, especially the foils.

That said, I do want them, heh.

It's only played in two "good" Standard decks, and those decks aren't a huge portion of the metagame. It's expensive because of Modern and Legacy.

It won't keep going up THAT much in the short term, but will probably raise a few bucks eventually.

Unless you wanna trade for a Craw Wurm , I'd hold onto them. They'll see a significant rise in price in the next few years after rotation.

Keep them for now and be patient. I have multiple Abrupt Decay foils in my "wait and see" collection. They will see a 3 figure price tag soon enough.
