Foil CoCo, Flip or Sit?

I know this is very similar to the last thread in this forum, but I got a Collected Company
off a friend back when it was $12. Now I wonder, is it worth holding on to, or should I part with it? Also is now a good time to pick up more of them? Just curious what you guys think about this cards up or down trend at the moment.
I don't think it'll jump to much higher. Maybe a couple bucks max but I think it's reached it's limit. At most you'd lose out on $5 if you sold it now

It's not gonna be big money. Now is a good time to pick up more before modern comes into full swing.

I don't agree with these guy's. It has potentail, I would hold on to it to see where it go's. It's seeing a lot more play in modern, reviving decks that some have forgotten about.

It is money. Hold onto it.
Though if you do want to sell it, I'd be interested.

I'm collecting these foils and expect them to continue to go up over the long term. This card has tons of potential to break modern and legacy.

Not too sure about Legacy, but Modern definitely. The resurgence of Melira Combo and even Elves is almost entirely because of Collected Company.

BBD has been tinkering with it in Legacy since it came out. He split a tournament recently playing a 4C deck that abused it for things like Stoneforge Mystic (fetching Batterskull or Jitte) and True-Name Nemesis among others. Search him up on twitter @BraunDuinIt he posted a decklist there.

Low CMC creatures are a big part of the legacy metagame. Dropping 2 of them on your opponent's end step is huge, and the manabase is there to support it. I love this card long term and will be actively acquiring them wherever possible (foils especially.)

I'm not big into the economic aspect of MTG, but I would say to keep it. In the right deck, Collected Company is busted, and, as more and more people realize that it's Modern viable, the price will only go up from here. In a few months/years, I can see this card being big money, especially that foil you have.
