It's really a gorgeous looking card, and its a reasonable CMC for a black board wipe with some tribal versatility. I'm not expecting anything huge, I picked one up just because I thought it looked amazing and I'd like to have it from a collector's stand point, but any thoughts on values in the near future/post rotation?

Considering that this is the best budget Damnation out there for modern, I'd say it won't lose too much. However, there's still a year's worth of cards to come out before we can decide how much this might cost in the future.

I didn't even think of that. Good call, ThatJunkMage.

The normal will be bulk and the foil will have/increase in value over time because edh players like their foils, and it's a one of a kind dragon themed board wipe. If you plan on long term ( year(s) ) I'd keep it

I'd say that Languish is a more suitable substitute than this in modern, but that's just my opinion. This will see steady play in EDH though because it is still a decent board wipe for mono black that isn't too color intensive so it can go in decks that are tricolor as well. Overall I'd say keep, it if you plan on playing EDH or selling it a couple years down the line.

It's also got a ton of colectability due to it being what it is

Post rotation, it will only really see play in a Dragons EDH deck. My guess is that the price will generally fall after rotation, so I would either keep it, or trade/sell it soon. It could, however, be very good in BFZ, so maybe wait for spoilers to hit.
