So about a year ago i picked up a foil ponder for about $40 and i just saw its now showing $117 according to tcg median (but market shows $49, not sure why there's a BIG difference but w/e) when did it jump in price? Why? And should i move mine?

Market Price represents what the card is actually selling for. If you honestly think you can get near $100 for the card go for it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

So market is what its being sold at but median is what its being traded for? Or how does that work?

Median price is the average of all listed prices for the card, the market price is the average price of listings that are moving. I.e there are some crazy high listing on said foil ponder that aren't being sold, while a lot of $45-$50 listings are being sold. The median price is just that high because of stupid people.

Usually reserved list cards will look like that. The median price is way higher than selling price because people post it for what they think it is worth instead of what people will pay for it

Ok... That helps clear up. Looks like some guy is lucky and recently sold his copy for the 110 price

Along with some guy being lucky, another guy was apparently a moron. Where did that happen?
