Hi everyone, I was wondering whether it would be a good idea to buy From the Vault: Annihilation while the prices is under 50 and may go up.
also any suggestion on any cards you think should be bought as they may go up in prices

It doesn't really seem to be a super high-value set. More of a thing to pick up if you're super into EDH or something.

Even as a major EDH player I find many of the cards pretty underwhelming. But hey they are super foiled and most EDH players like to pimp out their decks so I will pick one of these up

Like most sealed product though, if you hold onto it for a long time it will get pretty pricy. Although when I say a long time we are talking years.

I'm not impressed with the over all power of FtV:A, but I may try to pick one up for EDH purposes. As Epoch indocated, none of the cards are incredibly hard to get a hold of on their own. I must say though, the Wrath of God art makes me want no part of the set at all to some extent. I just don't like it. I think if you plan to not open the set and sit on it for a while it can be a good investment though.

For cube and EDH players, it's great. Mayhap some trade fodder if nothing else.
I'm disappointed that Damnation and All Is Dust didn't make an appearance. That would've made the set a definite grab.

Exactly. Damnation and All Is Dust were definitely missing here. (They did say that there are reasons they didnt put things in particular spots if read the part about Upheaval , but they can't print both soon, can they?)

capriom85 I agree, they took one of the most badass (artwork) white cards and gave a Theros skincoat. Horrible :/

I really think Damnation will make an appearance in Khans at some point but All Is Dust will never see standard play in the same set. Maybe All Is Dust is being saved for MM2 or something like that. New Commander product perhaps?

Eh. The cards are all $10 or less individually, with most falling around $5. Burning of Xinye is the only exception, and it's expensive because it's from P3K.
I don't think it's a great buy. It's not like people are clamoring for these cards; they're all playable, but, for the most part, they're not super hard to find.
