So they recently spoiled a few cards from the upcoming From the Vault: Angels set, among which was Avacyn, Angel of Hope

FROM THE VAULT: ANGELS PRODUCT SHOT

I've been wanting to rebuy her for my EDH deck for a long time now, but seeing as I haven't gotten in a game of EDH in over 5 months I put off buying her the week she FTV:Angels was announced, with the hopes that she was indeed going to grab a reprint.

So here's my question. What do you experts think this is going to do to her price. I know it's a very limited set and she's a rare and valuable card but that's still a lot more going into circulation and even as an EDH staple, she's never more than a 1-of in any deck that I've seen. How much do you think the FTV version is going to be, and what do you think this is going to do to the original printing's value?

She's never more than a one of in any EDH deck you've seen?

Shocking huh?

Sorry for the poor sentence structure. I was trying to say she's an EDH staple and even in other formats I've never seen her used as more than a one-of. Or None-of, for that matter.

I doubt FTV will do much to her price... The FTV cards are more to be collectors editions than to see actual play. There won't be many entering circulation, those that do will have been purchased as part of an expensive set, and won't be sold cheaply.

FTV printing will probably be $15-20; the Avacyn Restored printing will probably be just a little bit more. Reason being is that Avacyn, Angel of Hope is valuable strictly because of casual/commander appeal; generally, those cards lose a lot of value when they get reprinted.

Two dissenting opinions. Anyone else want to weigh in here?

I'm not an expert on mtg economics but I have a feeling she will act similarly to Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre his from the vault price was $10 cheaper than a non foil from ROE. So if avacyn is ~$30 from AVR the FTV one should sit around $20

I'm guessing it'll start around $20, but fairly quickly climb up to $25 or so. Really it just depends on how much other value is in FTV:Angels. If we see more higher price cards getting reprinted like Entreat the Angels, then her price may be lower since there is more value in the overall set for the same price. However, if the only good cards are the ones already spoiled, then she may be a bit pricier.

TL;DR - She'll be cheaper than 30, hard to say exactly. I doubt she'll go under 20
