Hello everyone !
WOTC finally released the list of cards that will be in FTV: Transform.
Link to the article, showing some new art on both sides of 3 cards: FTV: Transform
The MSRP is 34.99 dollars.
What's your thought on this product: worth it or not? Do you aggree with the card choices or would you have put something else in it?
As a side note: my LGS pre-orderprice is 50 euros. Do you think that's a correct price to pay? At what price would you buy it?

Some of the card choices aren't great but there aren't that many valuable flip cards to begin with. And you'll be super hard pressed to find it for under $60 at least for it's initial release. And I don't know the Euro to Dollar conversion off the top of my head so I can't comment on that last part.

from the list, the cards I already have are: Liliana, Heretical Healer Flip, Kytheon, Hero of Akros Flip and Arlinn Kord.
I could definitely use Arguel's Blood Fast in a (partial) black EDH deck I still have to build.
Avacyn is very appealing as well, either to make my first boros commander or in a mardu shell.
I bought the Edgar Markov EDH-precon and Bloodline Keeper would fit right into it.
I don't know how much they're played and didn't check their value, but the cards I'm not too much interested in would be Chandra, Jace, Nissa and the 3 cards I already have... on the number of cards I like it's definitely positive, will have to check card prices to see if it's worth it financially.

I dont like Arguel's Blood Fast being in it, but otherwise Im fine with what it has and may buy it.
Would have preferred a Westvale Abbey Flip within this is my thoughts.

I agree that Westvale Abbey Flip should have been included, but there are plenty of nice cube cards in the set that I'd be happy to get. Jace, Huntmaster, and Garruk are the ones I'm most excited about.

Who else noticed that the set symbol flips too? That's flipping awesome.

As far as cost, ftv sets tend to fetch a slightly lower price per card. I would value it based on 2 factors. Are you a collector who will leave it in the packaging and set it aside? If so then for sure worth the money. Are you a player who needs some of the cards for decks? As long as the total cost of the cards you want from it is greater than $15 over what you plan to get from it then yes. I do like the product, it looks nice and I want most of the cards in it, I am not 100% sold on the value but for me the cost would be worth it

Why doesn't the article mention tokens? Double faced cards normally have tokens that you can put into your deck in their place. Does this set come with those tokens? Are they foil? Is there 1 token per card, do you still have to cross the other options?

For the first time I'm actually excited about a FTV release. New Hunmaster art is awesome.

Given that just the flip jace is 30 bucks, hell yeah. But you have to want at least most of the cards.
