Ok people weigh in will it retain value and will it see modern play?

It's one of the go to 4-drop planeswalkers in BW tokens (I run 1 instead of Elspeth) but if he doesn't see play in other decks then I expect him to have value on par with Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Sorin, Solemn Visitor

I guess it is more noticeable on TCG. locally there is only 2-3 dollars difference between there prices. I suspect the event deck printing is the only reason Elspeth is cheap in my local stores, so maybe Gideon should be closer to her value
