If you are able to find someone who actually wants that card go for it. Expensive mill cards I consider binder poison, since nobody wants them. Nobody plays mill on anything above casual and FNM, so finding the one person in the LGS that does and learning he already has a playset (this card is the starting point of the deck).

I know a friend who has a playset of Mind Funeral in his binder. They have been in his binder for the past several years.

In general, it is good to trade for high value cards. However, make sure they are high value cards that people actually want. If you do not have someone in mind right now for that card, register for Pucatrade or something, as it will continue gathering dust in your binder otherwise.

Oh I use pucatrade all the time! I've traded over $2,000.00 worth of cards! Lol glimpse was just one I wasn't sure about,I know it'll trade off instantly but I wasn't sure of how it's value would be.

Unless you're making a deck, I would sell/trade it. Even if mill were competitve, I don't see this being almost $30.

Yeah,I find it weird that its at $28 right now. I've noticed that most people that run mill wont even put in the money to run this card because they use it more as a "for fun" deck.

I help to judge at my local FNM, and on the very rare occasion that I am asked to play, I run my Mallorean gospels deck, as it seems to take most people by surprise, and a turn 5 combo-win isn't uncommon.

But even in this deck, Glimpse the Unthinkable is in the SB.

It's expensive because of speculation. People are keeping it in the hopes that Mill will one day become competitive and the card will be expensive. It's also a rare in an old set and has never been reprinted.

There's also a buttload of reasons in an economic thread I made not too long ago.

I don't think it's going to drop anytime soon, but I really think you should get rid of it for something a little more actively desirable, so you can keep trading up. I've had mill cards sit in my binder for years before without anyone wanting them.
