Goblin Guide price?

I need a playset of Goblin Guide to complete my Modern burn deck. As most of you may know, they're 30 bucks each. Will the price ever go down, or is it only up from here?

Should I just have to pony up 120 bucks for them now?

It may get a reprint in modern masters 2, but MMA only drove the prices up of most cards. I see lots of sets around in trade binders; people have em for trade.

I feel your pain man. I only just got into magic this year and had my eye on the goblin guide as a must buy. But by the time I got serious about building a modern deck he had practically doubled in price. I'm wondering the same thing regarding his eventual price and am just hoping they go ahead with a Modern Masters 2.

Where are you seeing them for 30? Tcgplayer selling them for 23 dollars each average and you can even find it lower on the site for 20 bucks. :3

Starcitygames. I know they're more expensive but 23 dollars each is still a big chunk out of my wallet.

And people wonder why I don't play Modern lol.

I'm glad I got them this past summer when they were 8 bucks a piece. But still, I'd rather get them for 30 and not have to replace them for however many years than replace a 5-10 dollar card every year.

They're pretty nasty. I don't see a drop even if they're reprinted. Shame though..

Guide is the most expensive, and crucial IMO, piece of RDW in Legacy and Modern. The archetype is growing due to its consistency and otherwise low barrier of entry into both formats. I was lucky enough to pick up my playset for around $24.00 quite awhile ago. In any case, the archetype is making waves in big tournaments and on MTGO.

If the demand picks up, Guide will rise. If he sees a reprint in MM2, he may drop some, but even then he'll still be a salty card. It would be safe to say pick up your playset now. Check EBay for playsets on the cheap. Make An Offer option can be great. I picked up a NM Italian Karakas for $85.00 and a played Revised Savannah for $64.00 that way.

Fuck Goblin Guide . Play BW Tokens or UR Delver. Much more budget friendly [screw you Snapcaster Mage ).

That said...I know a guy with a playset that doesn't want them. I may send him your way
