So Goblin Guide and Monastery Swiftspear are both one mana hastee creatures, and one is $20 while the other is $2. Why is the price difference so great? Is 1 more power worth that much, or is it just because Swiftspear is still in print?

Goblin Guide is a rare from an 8 yr old set, Monastery Swiftspear is an uncommon from a set that's still in print. And Khans was extremely heavily opened. There values aren't close.

Also, the guide has a small advantage because of the fact that he's a goblin and that he gives you info on your opponent's hands, which is actually good (instead of being a downside).

Also, MTG prices have a ratchet effect. Goblin Guide went up before Swiftspear was in print, and there hasn't been enough lack of demand to require the price to go down. Usually, as long as expensive cards are legal and in demand, they don't go down. Something artificially expensive like Darksteel Forge went down significantly when reprinted, as it was clear there was no real demand
