Will he go up or down? In purposes for buying and playing him in standard and then sell him. Good idea?

Last I looked he was down to $10 from $25. If he doesn't prove his worth and start winning tournaments I would expect him to continue to drop

The funny part of it all is he is used in anything that has red in it

Once he goes out of standard, he won't be worth anything.

Probably.

Where are you seeing ten dollars??? I see sixteen...but I don't expect him to go below ten while in standard. Like you said, he's played in virtually every deck running red.

Well, the thing is people are learning to play around him. People aren't saving their burn spells for something else anymore, he just gets hit as soon as he comes down. People have realised that he dies to being blocked 75% of the time. He's honestly just not that good anymore.

Granted, he's still a bit of a necessity because he is a viable threat if left unchecked, which is why people are still running him, but by no means is he the unstoppable powerhouse he once was.

I feel like his value will shift a lot. When he's popular more burn will be played to hit him. Then he'll get less popular and the burn will ho away and he'll come back.

If his ability gave him +1/+1 rather than +1/+0 I think he'd stay a pretty valuable card but x/2 means nothing especially post rotation when he can be zapped by a bolt for 1 mana. I'm guessing he'll be under $4 post rotation.

I think he is pretty good for what Standard has thrown up so far. I think he belongs in a early, quick-rush aggro deck. Anyone disagree? The fact that he produces goblins with haste every turn makes him really good. That way, I can pound my opponents face. Also, doesn't anyone run spot removal? Good bye Goblin Rabblemaster dying so easily from a blocker.

I do not see him performing as well in Modern, because there is better shit to use. Does anyone see him hit $8 soon since more and more people save the kill for this goblin? I like that fact even more because I can use that to my advantage and play everything else I need on the field.

when he drops to 8$ I'll pick some up. lol

I need him for modern not standard, but neither of the 2 decks I plan to use him in are really designed for top tier play.

...a 3 mana token gen is pretty damn good. Truthfully I'm surprised Naya isn't dominating this standard. ...Courser, Stormbreath, Rabblemaster, Brimaz, Polukranos, Caryatid + Removal

APPLE01DOJ, just looks like another 10,000 standard deck list to me, but it is standard so... I am crossing my fingers for $7
