Mass drop has the deal going right now for an SOI booster box with a fat pack for $123 but the more people that prepay for the deal lower the price goes. It ends on April 5th I believe, check it out!
So if you prepay do you get refunded? Is that how it works

From what I read, you pay the price it is at now and if more people join in then the price drops and that's what everyone will pay for the product.. if nobody else joins then you just get the product for whatever price you joined (prepaid) at. Still $123 for a boost box and fat pack is already a solid deal
I just joined up this morning so unfortunately I can't really be of any more help. I did do a quick Google search before I spent any money though and it seems to be legit

I used MassDrop for a 2-pack of binders. The way I subscribed is by committing to the "drop" once the lowest price was reached - I didn't put in any money until I was guaranteed the lowest price.
It is worth noting that shipping can take a long time, especially if the origin is outside the US. It took a few weeks after the drop was finalized before I saw my binders.

Still a worse deal than buying all the singles you want. -shrug-

ducttapedeckbox that's how I understand it working. When I agreed to pay it said that I would be charged the lowest price. The shipping is the one thing I saw people having issues with but said that they were able to be refunded with little to no issue.
zandl yes, buying singles is the best way to obtain the cards you want or need. It will almost always save you money in the long run and 99.99999% of the time is the economically smart choice. However, some people like to collect sealed product and others may just love cracking open packs and packs of cards.
