I cannot believe Heritage Druid are $18 each...What happened?
For that, I am scared to even pick those up, because is it right to assume that Wizards will reprint those?
Thoughts?

Oh and they are that expensive because elves in modern work pretty well. Sorry for the double post.

very unlikely they will see a reprint anytime soon if ever, at least in a product that will effect the price by more than $5.

IIRC sets are developed two years before they are actually released. Heritage Druid is only so expensive since the Collected Company decks became popular in Modern about three months ago. Plus Wizards recently did not exactly do what people were expecting (no Serum Visions or Gitaxian Probe in MM15, no Zen fetches in BfZ, on the other hand Iona, Shield of Emeria both in MM15 and FTV: Angels to give just a few examples).
While it is very likely we'll get more elf cards in the BfZ block I would say it is rather unlikely that Heritage Druid will be one of those cards.
If you want to play with it you'll have to bite the bullet. There is no reason to believe Heritage Druid will get a reprint in the near future just because it is expensive.

If there is no reprint in BfZ (elf tribal etc), then I don't think that we'll see it in standard at all until return to lorwyn or whatever. It's just a strange card to have in the format. It is highly unlikely that it will be in a commander set because this most recent green one was the "elves" deck and it wasn't there. So realistically I can only see it being placed in BfZ or like a modern event deck for next year.

Reprints? Possibly. Getting them within a year or two? Not likely. Standard won't see them in the zendikar blocks or the next set either because that one is focused on Lilliana and will most likely focus on the next of her four demons. Supplemental products? Who could say? My only conjecture is that they won't be in the next commander set.
