Will this go up or has it reached its peak?Since lots of removal rotated with RTR and M14 I think it might go up. But on the other hand Utter End and Murderous Cut , so I'm not sure.
well it had gotten down to about $5 and now it's up to $9, so I'd say that it's already trending upwards. It's easily the best non conditional removal available and even with double black in it's cost can be played in more decks than Utter End and it's easier to cast it more consistently than Murderous Cut because when you delve your last 3 cards in your graveyard to cast the first Murderous Cut it makes it tougher to cast the next one. Murderous Cut is good, just not multiples of them in your hand unless your intentionally filling your graveyard.

It's going to go up. There is yet to be a good control deck introduced, and you can bet that once there is, it will have black in it. Even if that isn't the case, Abzan midrange is one of the best decks, and it runs 4.

Personally I hope it keeps climbing so my playset only becomes better trade fodder lol

That was when mono black first took off and was the obvious clear cut #1 deck and ran 4 of them. Right now the top deck isn't so cut and dry. Plus, there's almost a whole years worth of supply opened up since then so supply is greater now than back when it reached $20, I could see the card getting up to the $12-$15 range but I don't think it'll reach that $20 price tag again.

In standard Abzan is king and downfall besides a single or even a pair of murderous cut is all the have vs Stormbreath Dragon . They can't cut down on downfall because they need to deal with walkers too. I see it slowly climbing until the next expansion.

It's the best removal spell in standard. If cruel control becomes a thing I can see it hitting $10.
