Anyone know what the cause was for this spike? I know Dack is played in Vintage and Legacy and that he can also be played casually. Did some new eternal deck pop up highly featuring him, though?
Thanks! I'm just interested.

I suddenly feel really good about opening a Dack Fayden the other day on opening a Conspiracy pack on a whim.

Is Conspiracy gonna go through the roof soon? Dacks are 50$ regular, not to mention foils...

SimicPower: I figured that might be a reason. It may be worth noting that of all the people selling them on TCGplayer, only one seller has several copies with a total of 16. Most of the others in the 1-3 copy range.

I can't see these prices staying. Conspiracy is currently very cheap to open, so if Dack sees such high prices then all those $90 boxes of Conspiracy will be opened and the prices should stabilize a bit.
Edit: Apparently there is an edit button. This is the best thing ever

I saw from several sources that there was a big time buyout on him. I agree I don't think it will stick bc there are still plenty of copies out in the wild to be had.

Conspiracy boxes are cheap. $90 or so, last I checked. But I believe that they quit printing the set recently, so that might account for Dack Fayden's spike. I bought the last pack of the last box at my LGS and got my third copy. Yay.

I've actually been thinking about picking up a box of Conspiracy for round-table kitchen drafting hijinkery.

He's currently seeing sideboard playing in Grixis Delver and Grixis Pyromancer in Legacy.
