I just opened a great booster box of BoTG :)

So I just opened a booster box of Born of The Gods and am pretty happy. This box was better than i expected it to be.

I was lucky enough to find a FOIL Brimaz, King of Oreskos ,and another (non-foil) Brimaz.

I also found a Courser of Kruphix , 2 @ Temple of Enlightenment and 3 other temples, Phenax, God of Deception , Flame-Wreathed Pheonix, Eidolon of Countless Battles

Two Questions for the group...

Could / should I trade the foil Brimaz for 2 non-foiled ones?

Does any one have advice on how to organize the cards i opened? Such as remove all rares, mythics, and foils. Then sort all by alphabetical, or maybe color then alphabetical, or maybe should I pull out and sort uncommon cards and above and leave the commons by color bulk?

I'm going to move this to Economics because it seems more appropriate there.

I would get rid of the foil Brimaz.

Whenever I get a new collection or open a lot of product, I separate the cards into two piles. One is rares, mythics, and chase commons/uncommons. The other is garbage. I keep the latter in a box, and I sort the former by color and file it into my binder.

If you need another Brimaz, I would go for it. Or you could trade it to gather cards you've had your eye on or something. Just don't wait too long, or the price will drop and he won't be as good trade candy. I traded a Purphoros, God of the Forge to a guy for Serra Ascendant while he was still $30, and now he's about $8ish, whereas Serra Ascendant is around $12 and the price won't be changing anytime soon.

As you gather more cards, the best way to organize them is by rarity, then color, then alphabetically. It feels so great to wonder if you have a card and only take 30 seconds of your time to check. Personally, I don't care about foil organization, but you could have a foil section at the back of each color if you want them separated.

you could also just try trading other stock for the other 2 Brimaz you need and hold on to the foil for collection purposes. He's a cool creature to have in your binder and even cooler in foil. Personally I would keep it but supercaptainpow has a point about trade value. Just look at Hero of Bladehold then and now. It's your choice. Even if he drops in price, I would at least wait until the next block is released to see what kind of shenanigans he may fall into. He could even go up in value then.

I did a BNG/THS/THS draft on Friday, and some guy at my table drafted 4 Charging Badger . That is what I call money drafting. His deck was so OP that I just conceded as soon as the third Badger hit the table.
