Iconic Masters pre-orders

So, since yesterday Iconic Masters displays and singles can be pre-ordered on magiccardmarket. If you had a look at the cards, there's mana drain and all the phyrexian praetors as mythics, flusterstorm as rare and other stuff...
The question is, does it make sense to pre-order now for slightlyless than 200 Euro (shipping included) or is it unrealistic to get that much value out of a display? Is it better to buy 2 displays to have a better chance of getting a high priced mythic or foils?

Of course it's a risk but for example with modern masters it worked well because you had so many top cards at rare that it was hardly gambling when you opened a whole box or rather 2 or 3. I'm just not sure how this set compares to the last mm set or eternal masters...there are 15 mythics and half of them have a decent price, one is a bomb. At rare we have flusterstorm and several other high priced cards so the question is how much crap can you possibly open in a whole box?
We usually buy more displays of each set together to reach an amount at which we pay no shipping and later sell everything we don't need online as singles again. Every common is put up for sale then. It's not like I would actually buy some of the cards in iconic masters as singles anyway now because I really needed them, the question is just how much risk is the gamble compared to other masters sets.

Last modern masters set had fetches at rare, and other high value at rare/uncommon to add value. While this set has value, too much is at mythic. Some of the value at rare may drop a lot due to them being cards reprinted from less opened sets.

I would say it is less about the risk/reward and more about how you wish to spend your money. Are you making an investment, playing the lottery or getting carda you need for decks? If you are investing or playing the lottery buy boxes, dont open the boxes for investing and open everything if you are lottery. If you are just deck building singles is far superior financially. As someone mentioned above you going to draft is also a good way to get the most for your dollar.

Never buy boxes... It's a big risk. You can order the cards you want and be as much happy. Should you order 2 booster boxes, you would give ca. 350-400euros... with that much money, you can not only order the cards, but you can buy accessories as well.
Another solution is draft. I have become very good in drafting and I usually end up in the top three places. So, I pick the most valuable card and then trade with what I need.
In a nutshell, don't Gamble cause it's not worth it .
