The foil is around 3 dollars and it does not really see standard play. In fact removal on this thing is tooo easy. I tried in a deck and it just plain sucked. How come it is of value?

Perhaps... It just doesn't make sense. It is an intropack rare therefore making it 1 of 5 most printed foil rares in the set. Who knows.

It's rare, and a big flying black creature that seems like it gets you a boatload of free card-advantage. It looks good on paper and is a brand-new card. So I'm not shocked if some Johnny and Timmy players to love it. It's probably just a bit overcosted to see standard-play, but would be a fun creature to throw into a casual deck.

I think its just because its the best promo from that set. 3$ doesn't seem that much to me anyways.

$3 is kind of a lot for an intro rare, But I really don't think that too many people are buying intro packs anymore. Also, are you sure that that isn't the promo price? The promo was pretty sweet, and anyone who wants a copy of that probably wants the promo copy.
