Infinite Reflection

Why is infinite reflection such a cheap card in terms of price when it appears to have such a great effect, what's the downside that makes it a cheap card?

The mana cost is way too high and the effect is not very powerful. Infinite Reflection is an example of a win-more card. It's only good if you're already doing well - you need a creature worth enchanting and you need to continue playing nontoken creatures to really get any benefits.

You can attach it to an opponent's creature though can't you?

It can, but that doesn't make Infinite Reflection great. The card is just not very playable outside of perhaps casual.

Because it's a terrible card?

While it is a pretty bad card, I'm still surprised we didn't see this copying Thragtusks during its time in standard.

@ENEyman: I'm not. Infinite Reflection is a clunky and unnecessary card. No competitive deck would bother with something so vulnerable and frequently dead-in-hand.

Infinite Reflection with Biovisionary wasn't too bad. i saw a guy running a decent deck that did this.

i had a deck based on Infinite Reflection on a Progenitor Mimic making swagtusk that was fun when i was producing 30 a turn :P he board wiped it in the end for 600 tokens (4x parallel lives on the field) oh that was fun

In my opinion, Infinite Reflection is kinda expensive for a blue deck. I mean, not all decks can provide a supple amount of power-houses, (Y'know, 6/6, 7/7 etc...) BUT if you put this baby in an epic R/B deck.... well, you get the point.

I think Infinite Reflection is a decent card, more as a "surprise!" way to potentially win, or make a copy of the most powerful thing on the board!
