Investing in Hopes of Growth

Economics forum

So I read up on tiny commander and decided to invest in a few cards since the format seems to be on the rise (I doubt it will ever reach the level of regular EDH but then again I never thought regular EDH would end up at regular EDH's level).

  • Abrupt Decay - This one was obvious since it sees play in every single format that it's legal in and is the best removal Tiny Leaders has access to. Even without Tiny Leaders this will steadily rise but I'm hoping TL will force a quicker ascension.

  • Maelstrom Pulse - See Abrupt Decay above.

  • Toxic Deluge/Black Sun's Zenith - Three drop and a two X drop board wipes.

Anybody else investing in cards that may see a rise in demand due to Tiny Leaders?

Child of Night and Suntail Hawk. Those are money cards. I can count on their prices.

Suntail Hawk warps the format too much; hoping it gets banned soon.

I'm not familiar with the format, what makes those cards so good?

On the flip side, Stabbing Pain will see a price spike.

Six posts until the 'crow came out. We're getting closer. As for a more legitimate answer, a lot of modern staples make their place in tiny leaders I have found. Additionally, due to my lack of complete familiarity with the format I can't give much more. I only just recently started to familiarize myself with the economics of this game. My apologies for this type of answer.
