My Local LGS is selling a Mirrordin Besieged Faction Prerelease Booster Box - Japanese. It is selling for 135 dollars. I am just wondering if it is worth it considering the set has couple of valuable rares? I would Appericate any advice.
Seeing as, more often than not, foreign cards (especially those using non-English characters) hold more value than normal (and almost never less value), I'd say it's worth it. A good EDH Foil can double in value if it's foreign and you know the right buyers.

Thanks Jp3ngulnb0y and Gidgetimer for the advice.
I will probably get a box.
Well now I hope my friends like doing sealed or draft with Japanese cards just for fun :)
Well Drafting with friends and getting awesome cards I guess is worth it.
Anyway thanks!

Not a bad buy, especially if you sit on it for a while. I'd seriously consider this opportunity.

I can't find prices for the Japanese printings, so I am using prices from the English printings. The ten Mythics in the set have an average prices of $7.86 and the ten most expensive rares average $2.75. You will get an average of 4.5 Mythics and 31.5 rares from a box. 4.5(7.86)+31.5(2.75)= $122. So from a purely financial perspective you are unlikely to get $135 worth of value from it unless you put a premium on playing cards that are unreadable by your opponents.
