If you need lands, ask if anyone will give them to you. If not, a quarter isn't gonna break your bank.

Sounds like a good deal to me... If you had to make this post you're probably too cheap to be playing the game in the first place...

I'd probably be willing to pay $2 for the little pack of lands that come from a Theros fat pack.

@xaleclx: I don't think that last part was very necessary.

A lot of places around where I live do 10 cents per land, just to be able to make some profit off of them. Otherwise they might as well just be giving them away.

Well technically they are worth a penny each, you can get $10 for 1,000 basic land trade in value. So yeah, pretty much right on there.

That's acceptable.

Seems reasonable to me.

Ask a veteran player at your LGS though. Chances are, they have plenty to donate. I probably have 5000+ basic lands that I don't use because I use my unhinged and zendikar full arts in any deck that I build. I give basic lands away to newer players all the time and ask nothing in return; I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least one at your shop that would do the same.

my shop understands this, they have a humongous box completely filled with free basic lands
