Is Chandra, Torch of Defiance worth investing into ?

I haven't played mtg in a couple years and I came across a Chandra that has 4 activated abilities like Jace, the mind sculpter. I know Jace is in a whole different ball game but still curious. I see she goes for more than $20
Long term probably not, but around $25 for a very viable planeswalker that will be in standard rotation till at least September of 2018 isn't terrible.
Depends on what sort of deck you are running in standard. She's definitely the most viable red planeswalker printed so far, so I think there will always be some value there. And I've seen some MTGO streamers use her in Modern. But I wouldn't expect her raise in price dramatically any time soon.

Short answer, no. She's played in some eternal formats, but the supply of kaladesh is high enough that I doubt she'll go up in value after rotation.
