Japanese Booster Boxes

I was wondering how much are Japanese boxes actually worth. I was looking at dark ascension booster boxes, and I noticed that the Japanese ones were half the price when compared to the English ones. My question is, are Japanese booster boxes investable, or will I get more long term value from English booster boxes?
Some sets (like War of the Spark and Strixhaven) put special promos into Japanese packs, so those sets are worth more than English ones.

Mcat1999 - Russian cards being in Cyrillic does not move the price significantly--at least not any more than it does for folks who prefer Japanese, Chinese, or Korean characters. In reality, it is simple supply and demand--Russian is the least printed localization and is not readily available abroad. That's not to say there are not players who do not prefer the Cyrillic writing; just that basic supply is a much larger driver in the costs than a minority of players' preferences.
I also have to call out your lumping the Asian languages together, since that is not supported by reality. Korean cards are less readily available in the United States and can often fetch a premium that Japanese and Chinese cards cannot. Japan and China are fairly big markets for Magic--there's a reason Wizards creates special products unique to those two localizations (something other localizations do not receive). I know there are also special sites that make it a bit easier to receive Japanese product abroad, further reducing costs for sets that lack specific Japanese promos.

Mcat1999 English is the most expensive language actually with Russian only being higher for foils (much higher).

To answer the question any sealed product outside of standard will only rise with time.

So with print runs the way they are now and the restrictions on buying draft boosters coming up I'm not sure anyone can accurately predict the market
Covid has put a damper on numbers - or at least that's what wotc claims and booster boxes aren't going to be up for sale at wpn stores after this set.
I bought into the war of the spark Japanese booster boxes for the alternate arts - big mistake. With the exception of pre release foils and foil versions of the walkers the value of those cards is poop.
If you invest in anything mtg related only do reserved list. The only new product I've been buying has been supplimentey sets/commander products and masters sets. Everything else had a terrible ev and hasn't rubberband back.
