Hi everyone!

I've been collecting Japanese singles for years now as a bit of a collector's hobby of mine. With the recently spoiled War of the Spark stained glass planeswalkers however, I am really interested in buying a booster box of War of the Spark in Japanese. I've looked on TCGplayer about preordering a booster box, but nothing is language specific right now apparently. I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction of a site that would sell a Japanese War of the Spark booster box because I'm not sure where to look for one that at least looks legitimate.

Thank you and I hope to hear back about this soon!

I cannot help you with your actual question, but I unfortunately have to inform you the stained glass art will not be appearing on any cards.

From Wizards’ post on the subject:

“The card art will be different, though—in fact, these stained-glass versions aren't appearing on cards at all!”

cdkime oh I knew that actually! Perhaps I should rephrase my question, at the time I posted I just woke up from probably 2 hours of rest after a 20 hour drive haha. Looking back I see how that was misconstrued.

I meant to say that seeing what planeswalkers were featured in the stained glass planeswalker spoilers, it has me very interested in preordering a booster box of the set. Apologies! Thank you for the reply though! :)

Hareruya is great for otherwise-impossible-to-find Singles, but Wizards doesn't let vendors ship sealed product internationally. So unfortunately, I think your only solution is just to keep checking TCGplayer. :-/

If you haven't checked them out though, Hareyuya is great. They're the largest store in Japan (much like CFB or SCG in the States), and have a nice English-language site too.

Just to update y'all on my progress with this, I have contacted several retailers who I've purchased Japanese singles from before, and they've said that they would be able to do it, but for it to go through them and ship to them from Japan, and then for them to ship it to me, the price would be rather costly and take a minimum of two weeks at the earliest to arrive. They all pretty much have been straight up with me by saying that it's not worth the effort or money because the shipping costs would be nearly double the amount I would pay for the booster box itself.

I'll settle for an English version, thank you for your replies and thoughts in the matter. Now that I've looked into how it all works I realize that it's not worth the hassle.

Just as a mental note, Japanese cards generally aren't worth more than English cards. This is due to Japanese being printed in similar quantities to English.

In other words, don't pay too much of a higher price if you can find a good seller. You should really only be paying for shipping. Anything more than that and you're getting ripped off.
