Simple Question:Am I Correct in thinking that these cards will never be cheaper than they are right now? If I can should I get play-sets in my colours of them now?

Possibly right before they rotate out of standard they will go down a bit. But you should definitely get them while they are in print.

I doubt that they'll dip after rotation. If they do, there won't be much benefit over getting them now. You've already missed the cheapest for Polluted Deltas, which rebounded after hitting about $15 (now $25).

Yes, get them now, then sell them before their next reprint. That is what I am trying to do.

I've been stockpiling on them. Very good idea to purchase whatever you can.

Next reprint is probably very, very far off...

They are arguably a little high right now with flooded strand and polluted delta but at the same time their price is justifiable so there is a chance they just dont go down from this point even post rotation directly afterwards. Windswept heath however is at the lowest it will ever be and probably bloodstained mire as well so those are a safe pick up fi you need them.

Why is bloodstained mire so cheap? Im guessing windswept heath is low because of the clash pack?

RedDiomedes Its just kind of the least played fetch across formats and yes windswept heath took a big hit from the clash pack.

They probably won't go up hugely again. At least not for many many years. Magic players appear to be wising up to this kind of stuff and not selling out as soon as things are about to rotate out of standard - this means you won't get those lows a month or so before rotation. Furthermore due to the quantity opened they're not going to have demand outstrip supply for quite some time.

Look at shocklands - everyone predicted a crash before they rotated then a steady climb afterwards due to modern play etc. Nothing happened. People are opening so many of them now that there's just no reason to hit the $40+ prices that they once were.

In fact some of the shocklands have continued to fall since rotation. Given this pattern you're probably not right - these fetches aren't likely to do anything price wise.

If magic continues to grow as it has, they will continue to increase over time. Basic principle of supply and demand. Also most people I know have probably a playset per fetch. Which is not a lot. It's an item that is almost always run as a playset in a deck(Modern), in a format that is gaining popularity-in a game that is gaining popularity. Buy the fetches.
