Kiora

So I managed to pull a Kiora, the Crashing Wave in my first BNG pack at prerelease. I have basically no use for her I don't see myself running any kind of Simic/Bant deck, so I will trade her. She's about 20$ now. What do we think she can do in constructed? There is talk of a reemergence of turbo Maze's End decks and or a new Bant build around her. Do we see her going the way of Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded and (though I don't agree with) Ral Zarek and just dropping, or will she shine and jump in price? Obviously it would take a major tourney to know for sure. I ask mainly because I have an interested party who is willing to part with Avacyn, Angel of Hope and I need her for EDH SO whose more valuable?

Kiora for Avacyn? Take it. I don't see her becoming too relevant in standard given how poor the aggro matchup vs maze's end can be and red got some nice boons in BotG.

There's almost no way Kiora's value doesn't plummet shortly after BNG is released to $5-$7, and there's DEFINITELY no way it goes up. To be blunt, it's unplayable in basically any format due to its 2 starting loyalty and underwhelming abilities. People seem to be going crazy for the ultimate which is just ridiculous considering no P/W should ever be judged by that criteria. Jace, Architect of Thought is very similar but better in every regard, so there's no way Kiora even gets considered in a competitive deck until 4 Jace's are in there. Not to mention Bant and Simic, while being two of my personal favorite color combos, don't see a lot of play.

Rant over, so yes, take the trade as long as you're ok with basically stealing $20 from that guy. Hell, if someone wanted to trade a Shock land for it I'd probably take that offer.
