I was looking through my binder and noticed I had a Kolaghan's Command which apparently is $10. I have no intention of playing so I'd like to get rid of it. My question is, should I hold on it for more value in the future, or offload it now at $10?
It sees some minor play in standard atm. It's really the card's dominance in modern what keeps driving up its price. If standard starts using it more, it could climb a few dollars. Otherwise, it will likely hover where it is atm for a while.

I see no reason for it to go up actually the extent of its play is in modern and its found all of its places in modern by now and sees the play it will for probably the next year. It is definitely a possibility that it could be played in standard more and that could raise its price but I dont see it raising it past 10 much. This card has been out its been hyped its been played its a safe trade if you were to trade it off now.

At best it probably hits 11 bucks after 3-5 months. It's been a slow riser ever since printing. It raises about a dollar every month or two so I'd say if you move it now it won't bite you in the long run.

I think if you want to get rid of it then you should move it now. You, said you have no intention of using it and that you want to get rid of it so I'm assuming that means you have stuff you either want or need. Sitting on this hoping it rises enough to make waiting worthwhile isn't going to help you get that stuff you want/need. And, if there's nothing that you want then I don't know why you'd want to get rid of a card that you know will, at worst, hold it's value just so you can pick up a different card that you don't want/need.

The value isn't worth the wait (unlike my mistake of selling 3 Liliana of the Veils at 22 a piece)

This card will hold its value and may even settle higher, around $12. Modern play keeps it high, plus it sees play in the ever-increasingly popular RB Dragons decks that are crushing things in Standard right now. So good pull, and don't worry about holding onto it. It'll hold where it is and probably will pop up higher by a modest bit in the long term. :)

It's seeing quite a bit of play in Modern in Grixis Delver and Twin. It might dip when it rotates, but that won't be until the next full block. So, I say just hold onto it, it should keep climbing.
