So, what's Leyline of Anticipation used in? I've noticed it's been slowly going up all year, and now it's sitting at $6 where it was $2 at the beginning of they year.
Is it in anything? Is it just a casual thing?
Days undoing isn't even very good with leyline of anticipation. I doubt that had anything to do with it.

Avoiding ending the turn? Having 7 cards in hand and untapping with them first? It is certainly good, perhaps the only way the card is good, but it is still a pretty good rate - 2u for 7 cards.

Its a janky card disadvantage engine to turn on making your days undoing slightly better but it will always leave you worse than your opponent since instead of putting you at parody you draw 7 cards from a deck that has days undoings and leyline of DoNothing

Boza, It is definitely not Day's Undoing hype. The card has been steadily growing in price for almost a year now. If it had been Day's Undoing hype, than there would have been a spike about the time that Day's Undoing was announced. If you look at the Price history of the card, there is no spike, only steady growth. Similarly, if it was because of the hype, it would have stopped growing by now because so far, days undoing has been a fairly big let down. It sees play in many Blue commander decks because its a good card. It was only a matter of time for Leyline of Anticipation to reach this point, and it will probably continue to go up to about $10.

No, it's not days undoing or the mulligan rule. It's entirely because of commander. In fact, I'd put it in the top 10 best blue cards for commander, alongside JtMS, Cyclonic Rift, Palinchron, Mana Drain, and the likes. The ability to go everything at instant speed on turn 1 for 0 mana is just about the biggest advantage any leyline or chancellor can give you just for having a card in your opening hand. It's a serious powerhouse, trust me.

It was on the rise before days undoing. It is an EDH all star. Was 5 bucks or so before days was a things.

I can confirm it's a highly-desired cards for the ever-rising popular EDH format. Over the last year, a huge portion of standard players got bored of standard until origins made it a little bit more interesting. Instead of playing standard, those players played EDH because they still wanted to play magic. Many cards, including Leyline of Anticipation, have increased heavily in value over the past year because of the huge increase in demand for players around the world to complete their new EDH decks. Strip Mine is another example. It was $2, now it's about $8-9. Omniscience was $8, and now it's $30-35 (that's also partly thanks to legacy). Doubling Season went from $15 to $27-30. There are a few more notable ones.
