Actually, I dont have the cash to spare right now. But it's totally fine, because I made the budget decision of "buy 3 blood moons", which basically means that any deck I make can win games.

One of the local stores told me there was a 60 box min order for the first order. Which I think the smaller stores will be made to pre sell below msrp due to having to buy so much and the demand is not there due to what is in it. There is not many commons/uncomons that are likely to make up if you pull a junk rare/mythic.

Yeah, I don't need to pay anything on the pack for a couple of Lightning Bolts and Remands. Sure, you'll probably make up your box price in rares, but the uncommons and commons just aren't worth putting in the extra effort for the box. I'll sure enjoy picking up bolts for like 50 cents though if enough of them are opened.

I'm buying a pack or two, or possibly drafting. I have an academic recognition thingy on release day, so I need to find some other drafts.

Yeah, my LGS store owner says he might not have any packs to sell since almost everyone in the area is preordering multiple boxes at $220ea. A friend of mine is buying three boxes, my best friend is getting one, every one of my pals is getting at least ONE box... except me. =(
The store owner said I may have to pay $40 to draft if he doesn't have any packs left to sell at release (and they may not be at MSRP at that time even if he has any), and I don't much feel like paying $40 for three packs. I also don't want to have to pass up on cards I need during a draft. I asked if he would pre-sale packs and he said no...
The best he did was make a "pay $2 for a chance to win a MM2 box" campaign thing. I told him that I don't buy lottery tickets.

I guess I'll just do singles. It's likely better than buying packs anyways.

Yeah, singles are ALWAYS better than packs, except maybe if you draft. I'm a pretty good drafter, and I'm doing a bunch of drafts on Cockatrice, so hopefully I can win some goodies from a draft.

I'll be just holding out for the singles. The average box you can make 180 out of the 249 back, according to starcity prices currently and not accounting card prices going lower. If I can get a box below 180 I may get a box to draft with and with the way pre order prices are dropping I may get lucky.

My store is doing preorders for $210 + tax :) My box ended up about $225

mckin I could buy it for you and ship it to you. Is pretty risky though, I wouldn't trust some random guy with 220$. Just an idea.

Is it possible for people to mention which country they're in? LGSes aren't allowed to ship sealed product across borders, so I'm wondering how much I should be searching. ;)
