I preordered Liliana and Chandra for 5 dollars apiece on amazaon. Was that a good move? are they expected to go up or down?

They're both reprints. They probably won't be going anywhere.

Where are they now? The Tcg says 10 each but I think that may be for the last versions..

I feel like Liliana may become a good addition to mono-black. At the very least she lets you tutor for a gary or another finisher.

Liliana Vess is too slow for Standard. The last thing it wants is an extremely slow tutor when it already has Underworld Connections to dig through the deck.

What about turn 5 liliana search library with -2. Put gary on top of library. Play gary next turn? Win game?

Or just "draw Gary instead of Liliana, win game".

The thing is that MBD already has so many ways to kill you and most of its creatures are already so potent that you don't need to go searching for more. Usually, the first Gary is game-over if Desecration Demon , Pack Rat , and Mutavault don't do the trick.

Even in her most optimal matchup in MBD, against control, she'd just eat a counterspell or D-Sphere / Banishing Light right away.

If you don't have gary silly, and she provides two devotion. And if she eats removal, so be it. That lets you play your master of the feasts and what not.
