Any reason why he's so expensive? I mean sure, 12 bucks isn't terrible at all, but I'm just curious if he's used in any competitive deck or anything. Is it just casual/flavor appeal? Cuz he definitely oozes with that, I'll admit.
Casual and/or EDH, the only real format where shenanigans are legal.

Ah, makes perfect sense, then. Got one from a bulk bin at my LGS the other day (they sometimes put higher-priced cards in there to keep you coming back to dig through it). Couldn't think of any real way to make him competitive, but I might just squeeze him into an EDH deck for shenanigans then!

I mean the card is awesome and so close to being good. All it needs is on more toughness in my opinion. The price is probably a reflection of the fact that it's a decent card that was printed once at mythic rarity.

He's a decent body that automatically generates other bodies with no more effort or cost and can tap to remove a creature.

Mostly casual. I've used it in modern before, but it's just for casual wolves other than that.
