I opened up my White Commander Deck yesterday and found that about a doze or so of the common and uncommons where miscut. It looked like the print sheet was bumped an inch to the side, and on some of the cards, (Sol Ring, Assault Suit, and Swiftfoot Boots,) you can see about a centimeter of the next cards gray background. The Flickerwisp dosnt show the next cards background but it does have nearly all of the next cards black border. The backs of all the miscuts are all cut in the same way. I know you usually need picturesto price something like these, I was just wondering if these cards can be worth a decent chunk of change to get the other decks.

They can be. SCG has a whole section of misprints and rarities. You'd just have to find the right buyer.

If you want pricing then you will need pics, but either way Epochalyptik could probably give an estimate.

If the Sol Ring is severely miscut, then that's probably the only card that's going to fetch you any big doll hairs.

Why due miscuts get higher value? due to rarity? Also, are miscuts legal for competitive play?

You might get $10-25 from the Sol Ring depending on how patient you are and who you talk to, but you'd probably be looking at the lower end of that range. The other cards might fetch a few extra dollars, but they aren't really that valuable to begin with.
