Hey guys! I just purchased a box of MM2015 from an online vendor, and the price was $200 shipped. Good price? Or not so much?

Below MSRP is pretty good. Not sure of that particular price.

Yeah, should I open the box? Or save it

Do you want to make money, or have fun drafting?

Have fun XD Besides, I could always open some money cards. I might not make my cash back, but I can get good trade bait.

Mana Source video about MM2015 This video should help you make the decision about whether to open it or not. I know I'm getting a halfbox soon from a pre-order and plan to just open it, but my threshold to "make my money back" is like $75 so that should be reasonable.

Haha it's funny I just watched that same video. I think that I care more about having fun.

I bought two boxes at MSRP and they both paid for themselves, especially the one with the goyf. I drafted em with friends and it was the funnest drafting I've ever done. So I'd suggest drafting it and doubly so since you're getting the box for $200.

$200 is a good price. Anytime you're under MSRP you're doing well.

Yeah :) I love sealed product, I also just got a Revised booster pack for 47 bucks. Not the best price, but I didn't play then so I figured why not :)

The box IS sealed right? Or did the guy open it and decide "not to open the packs"?

ZeGinger's question is the big question.

Never buy a product unless it is Sealed or OVP (Originalverpackt, aka "Original Packaging")

If it is opened, it could be mapped or otherwise dilluted.

For example, you will open 3-5 mythics in a MM15 box. Let's say you are a medium sized seller (Like a hobby store) that opens a few dozen.

If he for example opens 3 mythics in the first 3 packs (Which I have done and isn't unlikely judging by the amount of boxes opened), he could simply leave the rest of the box, put in 3 packs from another box which has gone through the same method and you would be left with a box that contains 0-2 mythics.

This doesn't even include the scenario where they manage to map the set (in which case you are guaranteed not getting a single card of value) or in the case of MM15 where they can actually open the packs and reseal them if they are careful.

So yeah, that wrapping is important.

They are sealed boxes :) I have preordered boxes from this store twice, and I trust the store :) I'll post on here what I open :)

Mapping is not what is worrying about this set. These packs are easily resealed. The guy at my shop showed me how some people are doing it. Made me weary of the packaging.

The boxes should be sealed in Wizards plastic. That's how mine came.

Yeah, the box will be sealed in Wizards plastic wrap that they always wrap their boxes in.
