Hi,
Would it be a wise idea to buy a box or two of MM2 and wait a year or two and then sell for more? Do you think they will go up?

Modern Masters usually only drops the prices of expensive cards a couple of bucks to 10 dollars. It would be wise to see what all is in MM2 to see if you see a good number of cards you would like to pull and then make that decision.

The question is less "will it go up" and more "how much will it go up/how long?"
There are very, very few boxes of good sets that actually depreciate in value from their MSRP, and MM2 is assumed o have a lot of value in it.

yes it is probably profitable but not as much as you would think. the first MM set all those cards are about the same in price now as they were before . some lower some higher. some of the big money cards are actually much higher.

Are you guys high? Yes buy a box, don't open it then sell it. Boxes of mm1 (unopened) in the UK have seen over 50% price increase. Regardless of singles the box price will increase. They coul fill it with 99 trash cards and 1 good one and the box price will increase. It's all in that special note - foil in every pack.

And if the price of singles doesn't decrease that's actually good - you can turn more profit in that case because boxes wil be sought after.

they will go up, but there are probably investments with better returns.
