Hey all, within the year, I got back into Magic. I currently have a Modern Naya Burn. But I wanted to build some of my Modern collection. Is there anything highly recommended that I start going after in MM15 as staples as prices start to go down in the next few days?

Tarmogoyf, Dark Confidant, Karn Liberated, Splinter Twin, Spellskite, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Remand, Cryptic Command, the legendary Eldrazi (even if they aren't really played in Modern, they have a lot of value and can be traded off for stuff), Fulminator Mage, Noble Hierarch, Vendilion Clique are all pretty good targets. I'm sure there are others, but these are what I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm so glad I didn't pull a fricken Comet Storm. Commons and uncommons-wise: Dismember, Cranial Plating, Vines of Vastwood, Spectral Procession, Mutagenic Growth, Vapor Snag are some staples you could pull.

Also relevant to your burn, Smash to Smithereens was also reprinted.

My original thought was to actually stay away from Goyf and super power cards because I don't have any of the things like Liliana of the Veil. So I was thinking of the Grixis and Twin staples like Remand, Splinter Twin, etc. Is this a good strategy?

Not really. You can trade the big ones to get a lot more of the smaller ones.
