What do you think these two are going to do?
I've been looking to try out both in my Teysa, Orzhov Scion EDH deck, but I don't really want to shell out. Can anyone take a guess at how these are going to go price-wise after rotation? I know they both have some modern appeal.
sonnet666,
I've no idea on the pricing, but just wanted to make sure you were aware young Lili doesn't rotate until the fall (I'd be lost without whatsinstandard.com).

Yeah, I know. I'm patient.
So what's Mentor in in Standard right now that's keeping the price so high?

Mentor is in many Jeskai lists (including dark jeskai), as well as some BW token/control lists. It's also a good card to brew around, so people have been making jank control lists with it as a finisher. But really most of the price comes from Legacy demand.

I just sold my mentors yesterday. Got 75.00 out of the playset so im happy seeing i paid 25ish for the set when bought. Not sure how much of a decrease you will see after rot but there wont be an increase in my opinion.

Mentor's price comes almost exclusively from its legacy and vintage play, it has a deck that jams it as a 4 of in both formats. It's one of those things that won't lose much from a standard rotation dump because of those two decks and almost every Wx EDH deck wants one. I'd expect it to keep its value right about where it's at for a good long while.
Liliana on the other hand is pretty trash and will only have EDH value after she rotates.

Why don't you just proxy them now to see if they make any sense costing you any money? If they seem to work well, then you said your patient. You will pick Lili up very cheap when she rotates or possibly sooner if she doesn't see a demand increase from Innistrad.
Mentor, you can at least bank on it not going higher before you decide if it's a solid buy for you. It may see the post standard price dip as well so it's definitely not going to hurt to wait on it Til you see if it works.
That said, look at what the cards do compared to your deck's game plan. Do you need Lili's Discard ability? Can you profit from dumping your own hand? Her reanimation will almost always be a good utility to have around, but is it helpful to your deck or redundant? Her emblem is awesome, and in your BW colors May in fact be very profitable off a board wipe. It synergies so well with things like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos or even the Sorin, Solemn Visitor emblem. If you answer yes to those, you probably will benefit from a Lili.
Mentor will help you if you play lots of non-creature spells, but only if you're not wiping your board with them. I have noticed that the Mentor is not helpful to a deck that wants to wipe the board unless he is immune to the wipe, and then you are still killing the monks and also putting a lot of energy into keeping him around.

I'm not proxying because I hate it. I'm also not playing regularly enough to get a feel for how well the run. I'd rather just get the cards and have them on hand for when I get around to playing commander on a regular basis again.
I can already tell at a glance that both of these cards would do well in my deck, the question is more whether they would be more efficient than the cards I already have, as my Teysa deck is highly streamlined. For instance, Monastery Mentor is definitely less efficient than an Ophiomancer if I have Teysa and a sac outlet out, but it might be more efficient than an Increasing Devotion. Only time (and many games) will tell.

They have VERY niche modern appeal. Mentor sees lots of Legacy play, but even so I expect there to be a decrease upon rotation. Lili will definitely drop when she rotates, but she doesn't rotate until the end of the year so there's still a chance that she'll be broken in some new Zombie-synergy deck in Innistrad that could spike her in price first.
