So I saw the ad for MTG Madness here on this site and decided to try it out. The problem is my bank has this site flagged under their fraud watch. Has anyone used MTG Madness before? If so, how did everything go?

The above comment + I've also noticed that they inflate some of their staple prices to make up for the "deals" they have (free booster, 20% off).

You might try asking the Store Discussion subforum of MTGS's Market Street Cafe. I didn't find a thread about MTG Madness in my brief search, but someone there may have tried them out.
Until you know more, you should hold off on ordering from them, especially if they're flagged by your bank.

Actually, now that gnarlicide mentions they're Israeli, I remembered that one of my friends placed an order there a few months back. He got a coupon code as part of some promotional deal, but the store didn't process the order correctly and he was accidentally charged the extra money. I think he eventually got it sorted, though.
From what he told me, MTG Madness is a relatively new site. They may still just be working the kinks out of their various systems. Definitely consult MTGS on this one; I respect their Market Street Cafe community for its experience with questions like this.

Thanks for the quick replies, I think I'll pass on them for now then.

Daragoth, if you're looking for a good site to buy from, I can suggest three depending on what you're looking for.
Pre-orders go with www.starcitygames.com, they have the one of the cheapest pre-order prices, considering that they set the prices for the rest of the internet shops.
Standard cards I go with www.channelfireball.com, they have really good customer service and I have ordered from them probably more than all of the shops online combined. Their prices for standard staples is competitive with SCG, and their shipping cost is relatively low.
And lastly, and all around good shop is www.abugames.com, it's a little brick and mortar store from Idaho, I believe, and they have hands down some of the best pricing I have seen. They are fast when it comes to shipping (2-3 days tops). The only drawback is that its literally just an old dude in a store, so once in a while they may have run out of something that you just tried to order, but the dude will call you up and offer a different version. great shop though.
I hope that helps

They sponsor many pro magic players such as Shahar Shenhar, so they're probably legit.

I am not saying they aren't legit. It has a ton of stock. It's just a little pricey and shipping is a little more than I'm used to.
I would not be surpassed if they extra cash they charge for cards goes to "hezbollah proof" their shop. Lol.
All jokes aside, most banks fraud alert most middle eastern online retailers if you do not normally get stuff from there. I travel the world often enough that my bank probably doesn't give a shit where I shop unless I call them and tell them something.

And if you happen to be one of the privileged few who live in THE GREAT KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN (What a snobby name) then you can order your cards from www.magicsingles.co.uk, by far the cheapest in the UK, heck maybe even the world. I mean they're really cheap.

Too many GREAT's? I think not. Needs more if anything.

Try Troll and Toads for singles too. I found some of the lest known rares there to be considerably cheaper than Starcity or Channelfireball. Though I'm a penny pincer lol.

TCG Player has many retailers within their search engine. I've gotten some killer deals on singles from them before, including free shipping. StarCityGames is second.
I haven't heard of the site mentioned in the thread topic, thus can't remark on it.

Yeah, I agree with you Schuesseled, magic singles are really cheap. However, as a result of this, they are often sold out of cards.

I have previously shopped from www.cardkingdom.com, which has excellent service, speedy delivery (even outside of the US), but prices seem to be a bit higher than other places.
Also as other have said, www.channelfireball.com is also excellent, though internationally, their shipping is slower than cardkingdom's.

I would highly recommend Amazon.com I use that 99% of the time through the third party sellers. I use primarily CCG Unlimited and Card Rush through amazon. Most of the prices are cheaper than anywhere and shipping is free. Very few cards a few cents over even a dollar more which usually rarely happens but with free shipping regardless if your buying two 25 cent cards its free no set amount required at least through the third party companies that I listed through Amazon.

My name is David Cartu from MTG MADESS. I am one of the owners and founders of this brand.
I would like to address the comments above by giving a very educational understanding of how our business works. I have read the above comments and I find them more negative than constructive for users who are interested in buying from our store.
Firstly the web shop is based out of Cyprus. The company their has legitimate banking relationships with Wirecard Bank AG (German) a public company like hasbro who ensures that your transactions on the site are taken care of at the highest level of PCI security.
The companies tech is taken care of out of Austria and facilitating sales are done out of Israel.
We are global multi-national, multi-lingual connection that both deals on land and on the net which provides for the most part some of the best user enjoyment, entertainment at GP's, Content and much much more. We hold the player of the year, multiple current GP winners, and of course the World Champion under the brand.
We make funny youtube videos have a great facebook site and also provide the funnest experience a GP has ever seen if you actually come to Europe and see it for yourself.
Any one who states that Israel could be a fraud risk is simply uninformed or giving false opinion on the subject matter of receiving purchased goods. Anyone who has ever had any issue has been refunded or given even more back in return for their issues given. In fact I challenge anyone to bring up any real order that has been an issue for them and contact me directly at [email protected] so you can have your issues delt with personally by the owner himself.
Israel is a democratic nation with Vat Tax treaties with Europe and great ties around the world for those interested in international business. It is also recognised as the start up nation of the world.
As I said before. I am happy to receive any worries or requests to be taken care of directly to my email as I value everyones opinion.

If this is the same MTGmadness as Ebay, which was also located out of Isreal, I had good dealings with them on an Ebay order. Got a promo Damnation and Wrath of God for a good price (both were auction, so I got them at a lucky time to win the auction). Cards were exactly as described and no complaints. It took a while to get here, but that is because of international shipping and the such.

I ordered from them one time because of the ads here on the site. It was good prices, and shipping was not bad at all. I know it is not much, but just wanted to give my experience with that site.

Shipping is expensive and took a while. Turns out, it's from Israel or something like that.
