MTG Secondary Market Pricing

First, sorry if this is placed in the wrong area ChiefBell, but i also think you can help me out with this.

The US has a few websites to help buyers/traders know the prices of cards on the secondary market, the most common one used being TCG Player. What website(s) does Europe use to know the prices on their secondary market? Which one is the most common?

Europe uses tcgplayer or scg to get the price in $ then uses a currency converter to change it to pounds or euros. It is common to see people selling cards for 'half of scg in UK pounds'.

Occasionally we'll use magiccardmarket.

Trade using dollar worth.

That's actually really cool to know, I wonder if the 12 cents difference make a difference when your buying card overseas (Euro - Dollar)

(Geez just looked up the Pound - Dollar, its even more powerful than the Euro - Dollar...)

Yeah, Good ole English pound is immense :-). I bought alot of stuff at extremely favourable exchange rates from the US over the years. Best way to trade is just use, TCG, SCG or even cardkingdom. The only other way would be maybe magicmadhouse.co.uk as they ship everywhere i believe but theres no reason to do so tbh

in germany, spain, switzerland, austria, france and italy ive almost always seen mkm as the main source of information. in munich they look at me like im an alien when i start talking about tcg/scg

edit: mkm = magickartenmarkt = magiccardmarket /sry

Eh. Problem is that MKM moves very, very fast.

I wouldn't rely on anything else for my own purchasing needs, but I think it's a bad indicator for trading because it's just, frankly..... weird.

So what would you guys do if someone preferred to use MKM prices over TCG? What if the trade is already completed and which pricing structure wasn't discussed? What would you do?

I wouldn't mind much if someone wanted to use MKM over TCG but i'd check to see if they were trying to exploit some kind of weird pricing bubble. Like a couple of months ago snap caster on MKM fell to like $50 for no reason.

I'd never complete a trade without both parties being explicitly clear whose prices we were using.
