Here's a quickie: Should I keep or sell these? Now, I know that both see play in Standard right now, but I don't know which one is more likely to retain its value.

I dont think either will really retain its value declaration is a lot more played and is more likely to keep its price but its pretty inflated and I think both will drop after a bit

They're both Standard-only cards that will plummet once SOI rotates out, but that'll take a while. Declaration is insane in Standard, but it's a rare so its price so its price won't go up unless demand is REALLY high. And Sorin is a mythic, but he's a 6-drop Planeswalker in a color combination that has no shortage of high-cost threats, so his price'll probably drop as soon as the hype dies down.

tl;dr I would sell both. Not many reasons to think their price will skyrocket or anything like that, and they'll see zero play in eternal formats.

I have to disagree on the Sorin, Grim Nemesis front. That guy is bonkers in EDH. In , a card draw engine is not bad, especially when it damages the foe (or a planeswalker) in the process. His next ability can eliminate any creature or planeswalker outright. The final one, in EDH, is even more insane than in Standard. Think about it first before you rid yourself of the card.

Now if this is online, and they don't have EDH, then forget about it. Ditch it.

Sorin's price may retain some of its current value and go up in the long run. He's viable in commander and people wanting to play black white will probably auto include him.

Call me crazy but I can picture Sorin, Grim Nemesis in modern Esper Control.
