Mutavault is the cheapest I've ever seen it

Right now, Mutavault is hovering around 10$ from what I've seen. Would it be smart to grab some playsets now while it's cheap? I don't have a deck that I could use it in at the moment, but it seems like it's a price that won't stay low for long.

Its not heavily played, and the market is kind of flooded with them. Really, the only deck that plays it is Legacy Fish, and even that isn't all that common. It sees almost no Modern play, and its not that great in EDH either. If it does rise at all, it will be in the very long term. I wouldn't spec on it if I were you.

Don't get it unless you really need it. It was only expensive because of Standard and it'll either hold its price or continue to go down in the future.

I sold a playset at their peak for $120 as I figured they were over priced at the time. Glad I did. Might be time to pick some back up now.

It's one of the best manlands ever printed. If it weren't for Mishra's Factory, it'd see way more play in formats outside of Modern.

At $10, I'm going to be picking up some myself within the next couple of weeks. This is an absolute steal and IMO this is the lowest they'll go.

It will take some time for them to climb back up (and I doubt we're ever going to return to its $30 price tag). But, I'd say it's worth it in the long run.

If you don't currently own a playset, it wouldn't hurt to pick up one now. It will see minor price spikes whenever Wizards creates a block that focuses on tribal mechanics, so I don't believe it will devalue into oblivion. The only question will be if it gets a 3rd reprint in those said blocks or in a future Modern Master expansion.

It has potential to be used in in a lot of things. Pack Rat Rock & if Vengevine gets a deck putting up consistent results. (Gravecrawler+Mutavault

I still have 5 of them and I wish I sold/traded them off when they were $40 each. I really doubt they'll rise too much any time soon unless tribal decks pick up speed again.
