So I have a Mutavault that I intend to use in my Sliver EDH. Since this deck is going to take time to complete, should I trade away the Mutavault now for other cards I need for the deck (i.e. - shock lands and temples) and then pick it up after rotation, or hold onto it and keep it in the deck? What do you think it's price chart will look like between now and Christmas?

I guess it will go down a bit after rotation but then stabilize around $15-20. Mutavault does not see much play in any format outside standard.

Get rid of it now. It's going to drop soon. You can trade it for something that will go up like shocks, and get a new one when it goes down.

although i agree with the above poster, why would you trade mutavault assuming it's going to drop with rotation but in trade get shocklands which will also rotate?

Mutavault sees play in various tribal decks in Modern and sometimes Legacy. I would say that Shocklands have the potential for greater long term value, but Mutavault could very well slowly creep up in value.
