pretty simple, I just pulled both out of a fatpack of DTK and I'm wondering if they're likely to stable off near their current price or drop significantly? I kind of want both for commander, but I don't want to lose a lot of value on them and don't mind having to trade into them later.

Neither are really "money cards". Narset's hype died and she won't see play in modern. Not much anyway. Daddy silumgar has a cool ability but only fringe standard decks run him. Also won't see play in modern.

"fringe" you know, like 2 of the top 4 decks in standard fringe. both will drop after rotation in 1.5 years otherwise theyre not extremely violotile

mckin ~ no need to be snarky. But I feel the need to point out that Dragonlord Silumgar is less than half the price of Dragonlord Ojutai. @ only about $12 US Silumgar is not something I would worry about at this point in time

My honest advice asasinater13 is to just hold both cards. They are still standard for quite a while and who knows what rotation will bring when Theros block moves on. Especially since you have interest in both for EDH. If some deck gets popular that runs either of them and their prices spike, trade it off for eternal staples or stuff you need and then pick it back up after thye rotate out like mckin suggested. It's all about tracking them.

yeah, holding them and then trading only if they spike seems like my best bet right now, thanks guys.
