Nekusar, the Mindrazer Judge Foil

So, I got 1st at FNM last night...instead of packs, I opted for store credit, which was more than enough to buy the new Nekusar, the Mindrazer promo Judge Foil that I'd been salivating over in the display case for the past couple months. Due to Black Friday, the card, which was normally $45, was kicked down to $34.99.

Now, I play Nekusar in EDH, but I've got three regular copies already. And it's totally bitchin' to have a rare, exclusive foil for one of my favorite commanders. However...

What is the economic future of this judge foil? Will it hold or slowly rise? What are the normal trends for judge foils over time (if there are normal patterns at all)? I've seen some vendors asking for as much as $60 for it. Is it better-served as trade fodder? Or should I enjoy the card, care for it and play it while waiting to see where its price goes?

Finally, did I get a good deal? I know it was basically free because of Store Credit, but would I have been better off (strictly value-wise) by grabbing the alternative to credit, which was 14 KTK packs?
