Where do you think Nahiri, the Harbinger will be in terms of price after release?

She will initially have a high price, then will likely drop rapidly when she sees little play outside of Standard. After another set or two enter Standard, she'll likely see next to no play and will be around $10 or less.

She's worse than Nissa, Voice of Zendikar so sub $10. HOWEVER. There are 200 cards left to spoil, and if there is an amazing Delirium or Madness card spoiled, I can see her going for more. But that's a HUGE what if.

Great, I want it for my Mayael, the Anima edh. EDH and standard are the only two formats in which nahiri could appear, in my opinion.

The playability and price tag of many of the newly spoiled rares / mythics will depend on the quality of the Delirium and Madness cards. Alone, Nahiri isn't that good. Very bad outside of Standard. The hype is real though.

I agree. Taken in vacuum, Nahiri should be costed at 1RW to be reasonble for what she does.

maybe some modern control deck will play it as an unknown slot?

I'm having trouble imagining a deck that wants to play a four drop that barely impacts the board the turn it hits the field.

I'm actually thinking vintage. A +2 that loots, putting her out of range of a lot of commonly played cards. A - that exiles artifacts and creatures. They have to be tapped but it is fine for sniping a mox or 2. And an ult that tutors up blightsteel.

8$ after the dust settles, 20-25$ before.

Kala:

She should see play in Modern, but there's only hope. Her -8 will be useful.

About the price, she's already listen on SCG for 20$,but she'll drop down to at least 15$ but then rise again.

March 14, 2016 10:02 p.m.

I just don't see it happening in Modern. As for vintage... no way in hell. Shes too easily countered, she's slow, and she'll probably only get her +2 off. For four mana, shes too clunky for vintage.

Nahiri will probably drop in price and see little standard play for a while due to her color composition. She's WR so you would need Needle Spires or Battlefield forge as gap closers. Also there is not a good synergy of WR atm.

So I expect this card to drop to under $10 a few weeks after SOI drops.
