I want to hear what online stores you guys and gals use to buy your cards. I use channel fireball but i know alot of people like star city games. But ive found fireball to be a touch cheaper

For online stuff, I typically try Star City Games first, and if they don't have it Ebay. Though admittedly Ebay is very Caveat Emptor.

Magiccardmarket and ebay. Magiccardmarket is only available in the EU. Have bought very pricy cards online.

When I buy singles, it depends. eBay for old cards. ABU games is excellent for modern cards. SCG and CFB for standard cards.

I usually go through my LGS first. As they give me a discount.

Ebay, Cool Stuff or TCGplayer

If you're looking for anything $5-30, TCGPlayer is the way to go. Star City is for anything that is .05 - 3.00 because I know that they have all of the copies that i'll need all coming from one shipping source. Anything larger I shop around.

Yeah, I agree with ThatJunkMage. For small priced card >$20 and in large quantities, I go with TCG player. I bought a whole EDH deck in one go with them and had no issues.

For anything big (ABUR lands, FoW, old cards etc) I shop around because I bought a Savannah, Badlands, Wheel of Fortune, and an Armageddon for a total of $110 from a guy who used to play magic years ago who I found as a mentor of the local robotics team I am with.

So sometimes even buying from local people is better because they sometimes give better than store prices or may even trade.

I used Coolstuff for buying things in bulk. I've bought a lot from them so I get about 12.5% off singles, which is nice. For expensive stuff and foreign cards, I use EBay. Sometimes I use SCG for foreign cards, however.

If I use tcg player does the stuff come from different sources? And will I have to pay shipping for each of those sources

Yes and no. Depending on what you buy, some things come from different people and shipping is dependent on who you buy it from.

But if you get TCG Direct (over $25 of stuff in cart that qualifies) then it all comes from one source with free shipping.

Shipping is, for all intents and purposes, free on TCGPlayer. It either doesn't exist, depending on the vendor, or is wrapped into the card price. For example, you could get a Wurmcoil Engine for $X + Shipping on Starcity, or for $X-shipping+shipping on TCGPlayer. Because you're typically buying the cheapest version, you aren't paying for any premiums in shipping.

I like Troll and Toad. I've had good dealings with them and are pretty competitively priced
