i pulled a Jace, Vyrn's Prodigy and i dont think hes that good and i was thinking about getting store credit from my lgs either that or trading him. but in the two weeks ive had him hes gone up $15-$20 do you think the cards price will continue to go up or should i get what i can while hes still up there in price
I predict he's not stopping at $38, and he's aiming as high as $40-45. Don't look at him in a standard setting. That's not where his value is derived.

shadow63 He's the real deal. His popularity in recent legacy brewing has increased the play value of Phantasmal Image purely because he copies the planeswalker that everyone's trying to play right now, Jace.

Wait, people play Jace outside of Standard? What the fu-
How the hell are people getting to flip him before he dies a horrible death?
Eh... nevermind. Not the right forum to ask that question.

Fun fact, Jace, Architect of Thought used to be a $40-50 card. As did Chandra, Pyromaster
Now I can get both of these for like $2. I dont think that flip jace is much more powerful than either of these

He won't stay this high for long. In a couple months he'll be under $20, and once he rotates he'll be a $5 card. Its just a matter of time, the hype dying down, and more packs of Origins being opened. I'm not sure where you see him being played in Legacy, but nobody with any experience whatsoever would play him over JTMS. Its just a fad, just like almost every other planeswalker released in the last 2 years.

Here's the card link: Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip
He's going to go down when enough packs of Origins are opened I'm sure of it. If you don't want the card just get some credit and buy something you can play.
