Pucatrade questions

I'm just wondering. I've gotten started on Pucatrade and I've got a couple questions.

How do you get the address of the people you're sending the cards to?

Is it worth it to do pucatrade?

Who wants to give me free points?

Just kidding on that last question, but I really want to know if this will be worth it or not. I'm trying to get 2 Heritage Druid as my first priority, then there's a bunch of other cards I want. I just hope it can work out.

Btw, my account name is Lanzo

  1. If you go to Trades -> Sending and hover over their username, it will display their address

  2. I find it very worth it, I've made a couple of EDH decks solely through PucaTrade.

  3. Sorry, but I'm not an Uncommon or Rare user :(

I use Pucatrade a ton. I currently have 30,400 points. The biggest thing is to be patient and upgrading is helpful so you can send points. I give a 15% bonus to anyone who trades with me for my hard to find wants.

PucaTrade is very good for standard, but getting cards for Modern/Legacy can be a bit more challenging. Heritage Druid is looking pretty open at the moment, so picking them up shouldn't be a problem (this is likely due to the release of EMA).

I've used PucaTrade for over a year, and I really like it. Just don't expect to pick up loads of shocks/fetches and things like that, because you will likely be disappointed. Good luck :D

Pucatrade is worth it to me. I have received a lot of good edh cards from puca trade. Shocks/fetches and Modern/legacy Staples are harder for not upgraded users to acquire as there are so many people giving bonuses. Good luck.

its worth it in my opinion but you have to be very patient for cards $20+ but they can come. My only warning is not to invest too many expensive cards into it unless you cant trade them because often times having too many points sitting around is risky.

Is it likely that I would be able to move my investment from being lots of inexpensive cards to a few expensive cards? In normal trading, people with expensive cards don't bother to trade for inexpensive cards, and people who want inexpensive cards don't have any expensive cards for trade.

I have been on puca almost since the beginning. The site has had a lot of success in the past and I feel that most of its success stories comes from users who remember it's earlier days.

Is it worth it? in short yes, but the longer version is don't put any more into it than you are willing to lose.

My review of the current puca trade:

The points are losing value. Many people are not trading cards for points and many people with points are looking to trade for highly valued cards. You shouldn't have a problem getting cards below 1,000 points if you wait a month or so, but small items like commons and uncommons that you want you'll need to get large orders of those to make it worth it to a shipper. The sweet spot for getting cards from pucatrade is 200-1000 points, you'll have much more difficulty getting cards above or below those levels.

Also while their website says they refund shipped cards, they do it subjectively and discriminate against their non-paying users. keep that in mind when sending cards, if they get lost somehow, you may not get a refund.

That being said, I have also had a lot of success on the site. I have collected many of the cards that I wanted and I have only run into a few problems whether sending or receiving cards. I still use it despite the fact that I have lost about 20,000 points since I started my account.

As a final note, the future of puca trade doesn't look good. If they do not do something to correct the hyper inflation of points through incentivizing card shippers, the market is going to bubble and collapse, so try and keep a net of 0 points and keep the points range at the level you feel comfortable with losing.
