Purhporus, God of the Forge price?

I have been watching to prices of the gods. Heliod is the cheapest right now.. My question is, is it worth it to preorder Purphorus at $24.99? Do you think the price will get higher than that when it releases, or will it just stay at that price and go lower? It appears to be a much better card and it is more than enough reason to go mono red.

It's just hype and will go down.

Mono everything will attempt to be a thing.

I am curious to see which colors will come out on top as the strongest solo colors. Personally I think I am going to try a mono green with Karametra's Acolyte ramping into some fun stuff.

Also don't discount a Mono green that runs Kalonian Hydra and the new Reverent hunter. Its the perfect 3 drop before dropping Nylea and the hydra... he will get huge fast and Nylea will assure that he has trample.

Just my gameplan so far :)

Sounds badass. Right now I am debating whether I should do mono green, red, or white. I will most likely have a splash of another color. Mono white with some W/R duals to throw in that one drop creature exile.its just overwhelming all the possibilities!

Also, juat a thought, creatures that are indestructible... Why do they even bother making their toughness any more than one?

If it helps, I bought full playsets of the blue and red gods on eBay for around $20 each (card, not set). At most I'll trade one, I haven't decided how many I'll play in any given deck (probably 3-4). This is the first time I've preordered cards. I feel like I got burned not getting a single Voice of Resurgence through boxes and missed getting a playset when it was at $20, so decided to bite the bullet and get the cards now, since I know they will have a place in my deck. Hope this helps.

He's definitely going into my Norin the Wary EDH deck. If I'm able to get my hands on one.

Apoptosis yeah, the blue god is pretty awesome. If only I had the slightest clue how to play blue lol. I will most likely go with mono red... Too bad purphorus is $24.99. I will buy either one or two.

RickyHoeppner If you buy boxes you may get one, which saves you a lot (if the goal is to get 2x). Honestly, this set seems to have so many money cards boxes seem like a good way to go. I only preordered because I knew I wanted the whole playset.

Also if I pick an extra one up through boxes, they will definitely go up FT on tappedout, stay tuned ;-)
